Infinite steppes and Greater Caucasus

An employee of RIM Adventures picks you up and brings you to the hotel in  the old centre of Tbilisi. After the arrival of the group, a briefing is organized at autodrome Rustavi International Motopark, where our office is located. During the briefing the participants receive all the necessary papers, information, instructions, and route maps and get acquainted with a guide. After the briefing, the group can check the rented equipment and take a test drive. Then you have some free time.

120 km of diverse off-road terrain towards the ancient Georgian capital Mtskheta. Car-wide, hilly, sandy paths and forest sections that alternate with rocky up and downhill slopes with a wide variety of Enduro elements offer a perfect, first riding day. Around 5:00 p.m. we arrive at the hotel in Mtskheta. The cultural monuments of this old city are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

The driving day begins with gravel roads that lead towards the Sioni reservoir. We drive on a forest road around the  reservoir and in the evening we come to the small village called Babaneuri which is located at the foot of the great Caucasus.

On the route, the Abano Pass of the Greater Caucasus, which is almost 3000 meters high. We cross ice-cold mountain rivers, drive and enjoy one of the most beautiful mountain regions of the Caucasus. After lunch in Omalo, we will explore the surroundings and drive to the remote villages of the region. At 17:00 we are back in Omalo, where we will spend the night.

First we drive down from the mountains on the same route from the day before  and continue along the mountain bridge of the Little Caucasus to Telavi, the capital of the wine region of Kakhetia.

The last day of driving is also the most varied. Alpine meadows of the Gombori pass change after lunch with exclusive lunar landscapes. Variegated sand hills of the Sagaredjo semi-desert offer exactly the terrain where you can really let off steam on the last day, so that the adventure “Georgia” is really unforgettable. At 17:00 we reach our garage in Rustavi. There we hand over the motorcycles, after which you will be taken by a bus transfer to the centrally located hotel in Tbilisi.
